Parents,

This is the style of scoring guide that is used when assessing a WebQuest. This helps the students to understand what is expected of them as they work to complete this activity. For this evening we will be using this as a self checking tool, so feel free to breathe a sigh of relief.

Oral
Presentation

 

The presenter consistently uses a monotone voice or speaks so quietly that peers can not hear.  Students also lack eye contact.

 

The presenter displays some level of inflection during delivery, but does not make eye contact with the audience.
The presenter satisfactorily uses inflection, but does not cosistently use fluid speech or maintain eye contact with the audience.
The presenter uses eye contact with the audience, and uses fluid speech and inflection that maintains the interest of the audience.
Visual Aides

 

Visual aides contain more than five errors in spelling and/or grammar.

 

Visual aides contain three to four errors in spelling and/or grammar.
Visual aides contain one to two errors in spelling and/or grammar.
Visual aides contain no spelling or grammar errors.
